Laser Aftercare Instructions

STAY CALM. After your Lumecca Peak IPL treatment, your skin may be red, swollen, or have a mild sunburn sensation. The redness may last a few days, and pigmented areas will begin to fall off after a few days.

APPLY your Neocutis NeoRestore Mask within the first 24 hours after treatment. *Store in the fridge prior to application for additional cooling.

STAY COOL for the first 24 hours after treatment. An icepack is provided for you to apply gently to the skin periodically.

AVOID alcohol and smoking for 12 hours prior to your treatment.

AVOID any direct sun exposure 2 weeks before, during, or 2 weeks after your treatment series.

AVOID all activities that cause skin to flush such as hot baths, sauna, or vigorous exercise for 24 hours after your Lumecca Peak IPL treatment.

AVOID any spray tans, chemical exfoliants, or skincare scrubs for 1 week prior to and for 1 week after your Lumecca Peak IPL treatment.

AVOID any other facial treatments for 14 days after your Lumecca Peak IPL treatment.

CLEAN makeup may be applied directly after your Lumecca Peak IPL treatment.

MOISTURIZE! You may apply moisturizer immediately after your treatment, BUT be sure to avoid any exfoliating moisturizers for 1 week after your Lumecca Peak IPL treatment.

ALWAYS wear a 30 SPF or higher sunblock to protect your treated areas.

ALWAYS drink plenty of water to stay well hydrated after your laser treatment.

BE PATIENT your laser results take time. Your CV provider will discuss treatment progress with you at each appointment. Please reach out to your CV Provider if you have any questions.

ONLY FOR LASER HAIR REMOVAL: no waxing, tweezing, plucking, or depilatory attempts of any type during your treatment series. Wet shaving is approved. Any hair shaft removal will reduce the efficacy of your treatment sessions.
