Morpheus8 Aftercare Instructions

APPLY Neocutis Aftercare lotion to your treated areas every 4 to 6 hours. Spritz your Avene water spray first and then apply your Neocutis Aftercare lotion. Aside from a gentle face wash, these are the only products that you will use for the next 3 days. *Be sure to wash your hands prior to each application.

IF YOU NEED TO WEAR MAKEUP WITHIN THE FIRST 24 HOURS AFTER TREATMENT, then you will APPLY your Stratacel instead of Neocutis Aftercare. *Stratacel is a thin medical grade silicone that dries creating a nonpermeable barrier, apply as written below.

1. Cleanse your treatment area and hands and then dry thoroughly.

2. Apply a very thin layer of Stratacel and let it dry for a full 10 minutes.

3. After Stratacel has dried, you can safely apply cosmetics overtop.

AVOID contamination or infection by ensuring your treated area is kept clean, especially for the first 2 days. *Clean sheets and pillowcases are helpful to prevent a possible infection.

AVOID creating an increase in your body temperature via exercise, hot showers, hair dryers, working outside, etc.. for the first 2 days.

ELEVATE your pillow for the first night to help reduce facial swelling.

APPLY ice, with a clean barrier cloth, for only 20 minute sessions, up to 4 times a day, if needed for comfort.

USE tylenol, if needed, for discomfort, as directed on the bottle’s medication label. *Over the counter oral medications, such as arnica, and antihistamines, such as zyrtec, claritin, or benadryl, can also be used, as directed on their bottle’s label, to improve your healing timeline.

AVOID any rough contact or heat exposure to your treated areas for 3 days. *If you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex) you should CONTINUE your prescribed antiviral prophylaxis (Valtrex or Acyclovir) for 3 days following your Morpheus treatment.

RESUME your normal skin care regimen 3 days after your Morpheus treatment, BUT you should AVOID: Vitamin C products, retinols, active resurfacing or chemical exfoliants for 2 weeks after your Morpheus treatment.

ALWAYS reach out to your CV Morpheus provider if there is any concern for infection, excessive swelling, redness, pain or other concerning symptoms.

STAY CALM. Some tiny scabs may appear after 1-3 days and stay for several days following the treatment. The scabs should not be touched or scratched, even if they itch, and you should allow them to flake off naturally.

MOISTURIZE! It is typical to need additional moisture after your Morpheus treatment. Apply your gentle moisturizer liberally. If you need product recommendations, ask your CV Morpheus provider for safe recommendations.

SUNBLOCK! At day 3 after your Morpheus treatment you should start using at least a 30 SPF sunblock to protect your treated areas.

Tanning of any sort (sun exposure, tanning beds, spray tans, or artificial tanning lotions) is NOT ALLOWED in the treated areas during the entire course of your treatment series.

ALWAYS drink plenty of water to stay well hydrated after your Morpheus treatment.
